Delivery & Returns Policy
Last updated: 19 September 2026
Last updated: 19 September 2026
1. Who this Policy applies to
This Policy applies to physical products purchased from Jiu Jitsu Brotherhood. Jiu Jitsu Brotherhood is owned and operated by Kingston Jiu Jitsu Ltd, company number 11578178.
It forms part of our Terms and Conditions and does not affect your statutory rights.
2. Where we deliver
We currently deliver to UK addresses only. We do not accept orders for delivery outside the United Kingdom.
3. Delivery charges and estimates
Available delivery methods, charges and estimated times are shown at checkout before you place your order. Estimates begin when the order is dispatched, not necessarily when it is placed.
Unless we agree a different period with you, goods will be delivered without undue delay and within 30 days after the contract is formed.
Delivery dates are estimates unless we expressly agree that a date is essential. During busy periods or events outside our reasonable control, delivery may take longer. We will contact you if a material delay becomes known to us.
4. Dispatch and delivery
We will send a dispatch confirmation where available. You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address and for ensuring that someone can receive the parcel where required.
If a parcel is returned because the address supplied was incomplete or incorrect, or delivery was repeatedly refused or not collected, we may charge the reasonable cost of redelivery. Your consumer rights remain unaffected.
Responsibility for the goods passes to you when they are delivered to you or to a person you nominate to receive them.
5. Delayed, missing or damaged parcels
If an order is materially delayed, tracking shows an unexplained problem, or the parcel arrives damaged, contact us at admin@kingstonjiujitsu.com with your order number and relevant details.
Please do not dispose of damaged packaging or products until we have advised what is needed. We may request photographs or other reasonable evidence so that we can investigate with the carrier. This does not reduce your statutory rights.
6. Your right to cancel an online order
For most goods bought online, you may cancel without giving a reason from the time the order is placed until 14 days after the day on which you, or a person you nominate, receives the goods.
For an order delivered in separate parcels, the cancellation period generally ends 14 days after the day the final parcel is received.
To cancel, tell us clearly before the cancellation period ends. Email admin@kingstonjiujitsu.com and include your name, order number, the goods concerned and a clear statement that you wish to cancel. You may use the optional cancellation form below, but you do not have to.
7. Returning cancelled goods
After notifying us that you are cancelling, return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days after that notification.
Contact us before sending anything so that we can provide the correct return address and instructions. Do not send returns to the registered office unless we specifically tell you to do so.
For change-of-mind returns, you are responsible for the direct return cost unless we agree otherwise. We recommend obtaining proof of posting and using an appropriately insured, trackable service, because the goods remain your responsibility until received.
You may inspect goods as you would in a shop. You are responsible for any reduction in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. Clothing and training equipment should not be trained in, washed, altered or returned without attached tags where those steps go beyond reasonable inspection.
8. Refunds following cancellation
Where you validly cancel the whole order, we will refund:
- the price paid for the returned goods; and
- the cost of our least expensive standard delivery method, if you paid an outbound delivery charge.
If you chose a more expensive delivery option, we do not have to refund the additional amount. If you cancel only part of an order, outbound delivery is refunded only where required by law.
We may reduce the product refund to reflect loss in value caused by excessive handling.
We will refund without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receiving the returned goods or, if earlier, receiving evidence that you sent them. If no goods were supplied, the deadline is 14 days after you told us you were cancelling.
Refunds are made using the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise. You will not be charged a refund fee.
9. Exceptions to change-of-mind cancellation
The statutory right to cancel may not apply to certain goods, including:
- goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised;
- sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health-protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed; and
- other items excluded by applicable consumer law.
An exception does not remove your rights if an item is faulty, not as described or otherwise fails to comply with the law.
10. Faulty, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed goods
If goods are faulty, damaged, not as described or not what you ordered, contact us promptly at admin@kingstonjiujitsu.com with your order number and details of the problem.
We will provide the remedy required by law. Depending on the circumstances, this may include a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund. We will bear reasonable return costs where goods do not conform to the contract.
The Consumer Rights Act 2015 provides consumers with a short-term right to reject many faulty goods within 30 days, as well as further rights after that period. Nothing in this Policy limits those rights.
11. Exchanges
We do not routinely offer direct exchanges. If you want a different size, colour or variant, you may return the original item under this Policy and place a new order. This does not affect your remedies for faulty, incorrect or misdescribed goods.
12. Optional cancellation form
You do not have to use this form. You can cancel by emailing us at admin@kingstonjiujitsu.com with your name, order number and a clear statement that you wish to cancel.
