1. About this Policy
This Policy explains how Kingston Jiu Jitsu Ltd trading as Jiu Jitsu Brotherhood uses cookies and similar storage or access technologies on this website.
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, tags and scripts that store information on, or access information from, your device.

Jiu Jitsu Brotherhood is owned and operated by Kingston Jiu Jitsu Ltd, company number 11578178, whose registered office is 56 Staunton Road, Kingston upon Thames, Surrey, England, KT2 5TL.

3. Categories we may use
Strictly necessary
These technologies are required to provide a service you request or to operate, secure and remember essential choices on the website. On this site they support the shopping basket, guest checkout identifiers, security of the service you request, and remembering your cookie preferences.
Where the law provides an exemption, we do not ask for consent to use strictly necessary technologies.
Analytics
Analytics technologies help us understand how visitors use the website, such as which pages are visited. Google Analytics 4 is enabled on this website and is loaded only after you give the required consent.
Marketing
Marketing technologies may measure advertising or support advertising platforms. They are offered in the consent controls only when an advertising tag is actually configured in our tracking settings. The Meta Pixel is currently disabled and is not loaded. Email marketing signup is separate from cookie consent. The newsletter form is for email updates. A free-guide form emails the guide you request and adds you to the newsletter only if you tick the optional updates box. Those forms do not load a MailerLite script.
We do not currently use a separate “functional” cookie category on this website.
4. Your choices
When you first visit, the cookie banner offers:
- Accept All and Reject Non-Essential, with equal prominence; and
- Customise, where you can turn analytics on or off. A marketing preference is shown only if advertising tags are configured and active. Essential technologies remain on and are explained as necessary, not as optional toggles.
Optional preferences default to off until you choose them. Rejecting optional cookies will not prevent basic use of the website, including browsing content and using the shop basket.
Google Analytics 4 loads only when the analytics preference is on. Marketing consent alone does not activate GA4. If you withdraw analytics consent, we stop further GA4 collection where technically possible, remove first-party _ga / _ga_* cookies, and keep that choice for later visits.
You can reopen these controls at any time using the “Manage Cookie Preferences” button on this page. Withdrawing consent does not make earlier consent-based use unlawful.
You can also delete or block cookies through your browser. Browser controls may affect essential website functions and do not necessarily control every similar technology used by embedded third-party content after you choose to load it.
Consent preference version: 4. If we change this version, visitors with an older stored choice are asked again.
5. Third parties
Some technologies are provided by third parties. Depending on which features are enabled and your choices, these may include:
- Vercel, for hosting, security and application delivery;
- Supabase, for database, staff authentication and related application functions (not used for public customer login accounts);
- Mollie, to provide secure payment when you check out (cookies on Mollie’s domains during payment have not been inventory-listed here in full);
- Google Analytics (GA4 measurement ID G-6T3N6LBRP3), for website analytics after analytics consent;
- Supabase and Resend, when you submit a newsletter or free-guide signup form. The form submits to this website. Supabase stores the address, and stores marketing consent when you opt in to updates. Resend delivers the email. The form does not post to MailerLite and does not load a MailerLite script. MailerLite may still hold address records collected before this change; and
- YouTube, when you choose to play an embedded video (see inventory); and
- Google Maps, only if you follow a “Get directions” link (for example from the contact page); the contact page itself uses a locally hosted OpenStreetMap-derived static map and does not embed Google Maps.
Advertising pixels (including Meta) remain off unless enabled in our tracking settings and you have allowed marketing cookies.
When you follow an ordinary link to another website or social-media service, that service may use its own cookies or similar technologies. Its policies and controls apply on its website.
6. Current technology inventory
The following inventory reflects the current implementation (verified in code and local consent testing, 18 October 2026). HttpOnly shop cookies are confirmed from the application code and by successful basket behaviour; they are not readable to page scripts.

Browser storage observed but not set by current JJB application code
On an earlier browser session against the live site, first-party localStorage keys associated with legacy Shopify / PageFly tooling and a MailerLite ml_guid value were present. After clearing storage and reloading without interacting with third-party forms, those keys did not reappear. They are treated as legacy or third-party residue, not as cookies the current JJB app intentionally sets.
Non-essential analytics technologies are not loaded until analytics consent is recorded. Reject Non-Essential and Customise with analytics off leave GA4 unloaded.
7. Retention and review
We use technologies only for periods proportionate to their purpose. We review the inventory periodically and when website features or providers change.

Where cookies or similar technologies involve personal information, our Privacy Policy explains how we use it and describes your rights.
9. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy when our website, providers or legal obligations change. The current version and its update date will be published here.
