In the final video from his open guard collar and sleeve series at the JJB Super Seminar, Leigh Remedios teaches the De La Riva Balloon Sweep — a clean, technical way to take your opponent overhead and finish in mount.

When the opponent steps the opposite leg forward (blocking your tripod sweep), you can break their posture, switch to a shallow De La Riva hook, and use their momentum to elevate and sweep. Simple, smooth, and far easier than it looks!
