This video features some incredible vintage Judo newaza footage from 1949 featuring Gunji Koizumi.

Gunji Koizumi was the Japanese Judoka who introduced this martial art to the United Kingdom and became known as the 'Father of British Judo.' He held the rank of 8th dan in judo at the time of his death in 1965.
