I’m a big proponent of jiu jitsu concepts and principles and over the years I’ve been shown (and discovered) dozens of them.

Every now and then I’ll stumble upon something truly special that completely revolutionizes my entire perspective of the art.

The ‘Strong-Shape / Weak-Shape’ is one of these ‘super-concepts’. I truly believe that understanding this concept and actively looking for ways to identify and use it will massively improve your jiu jitsu.
